FreeGraphics.com is one woman's labor of somewhat fickle love... it is not a corporation, firm,
industry, company, enterprise, or outfit.
I have a great deal of
admiration for all the great artists
who offer their talents for free -- making the web a
lovelier, funnier, and more artistic place than
it would be without them. That is why this site is here.
How Sites Are Rated
Sites listed at Free Graphics are rated on quality,
quantity, and creativity of product offered (such as free
fronts, free clipart) and that
rating is included with each listing. Ratings are on a 1-5
scale, 1 being the lowest, 5 being the highest. Sites
receiving an Overall Ranking of lower than 3 are not listed.
There are a couple of exceptions. I don't rank the tutorials
and
some of the categories (such as Holidays) only receive
an overall ranking (there usually aren't enough graphics
to rank on Quantity in such a category).
Why Sites are Rejected
Quality, quantity, and quite often trademark or copyright violations.

How do I arrive at the Overall Ranking?
Well, it's a combination of quantity, quality, creativity,
and site navigation -- all as seen through my eyes...
